INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Vacations, home improvement projects and summer jobs are all opportunities for scammers to learn way too much about you. 

Financial professional Casey Marx stopped by the Daybreak studios to talk about ways people can avoid falling victim to summer scams. 

“It turns out that senior citizens report losing the most money, which is a major issue, so at our firm we pay a lot of attention to that because these are folks who are living on a fixed income who can’t afford to go backwards,” said Marx. 

Marx also shared other red flag warnings when it comes to scammers in the summer.
