Help kids and families in need this summer with a “concert for a cause!”

Bruce Kidd, Founder, Concerts for a Cause, and Brent Aarons, Volunteer Pilot and Mentor for Flight 1, tell us more:

Concerts for a Cause helps children in need take flight

Next Concert: National Recording Artist Brian Dunne & Just Push Play Band
July 28, The Lucas Estate, 6 p.m.

-Concerts for a Cause’s mission is to help improve our community by supporting small local Not For Profits
-We host four concerts per year at the Lucas Estate in Carmel with local and national artists and we donate all $ from ticket sales to a different organization at each event.
-Each event is a full evening of entertainment with a purpose
-We are in our 3rd year and our attendance has doubled to sold out events with 300 people
-Ticket price is $75 and that includes dinner, all drinks, two live concerts and a chance to meet the national artists in person
-Flight 1 is the Not For Profit we are supporting at the July 28th Concert
-Flight 1 is a unique organization that supports kids who have experienced the loss of a parent
-The organization uses aviation as the foundation of building a child’s confidence after their traumatic experience at home.
-The year-long program with each child includes teaching them about how planes work and also how to fly a small plane – first in a simulator and then in an actual plane with a volunteer experienced pilot. It’s a life changing experience for the 100 kids who participate each year.
