New partnership looking to help Indy’s homeless

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A new partnership is aiming to help homeless people in Indianapolis while also addressing panhandling downtown.

Tom Tuttle with Street Reach Indy stopped by our studios Tuesday morning to discuss the partnership.

For the first time, panhandler surveys are being conducted downtown three times per year to get a better sense of their situation and needs so they can create strategies that help these individuals.
