Strong storms have developed in Iowa and Illinois this evening and will continue moving east into Indiana. Those storms have had a history of producing tornadoes and damaging winds.

Tornado warnings have been issued in Illinois and Iowa with many of the storms. A tornado warning means a tornado has been detected by radar or spotted by the public.

The storms are expected to arrive in Indiana after midnight, and may linger into early Tuesday morning. Some weakening of the storms is expected as they move east, but may still be capable of producing severe weather.y.
