Tracking showers and isolated strong storms

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — As showers and storms move out, colder air sinks into the state. 

Thursday night:
Showers will continue to move east and out of the area overnight. 

Friday:
A few spotty sprinkles will linger into Friday morning before sunrise. Clouds will slowly decrease throughout the day making way for partly sunny skies by afternoon. It will be dry and cooler with high temperatures near 60 degrees. Much colder air will sink in Friday night as temperatures fall to the low 40s overnight under partly cloudy skies.

Saturday:
Enjoy a mix of sun and clouds as temperatures warm slightly by afternoon. The chance for showers will increase Saturday afternoon. Isolated showers will move into the state Saturday night. 

Sunday:
Showers will once again develop with the chance for isolated thunderstorms. Expect a wet Sunday afternoon with temperatures in the low 60s.

8 Day forecast: 
The gradual warming trend will continue into next week. Expect a partly sunny and slightly warmer Monday with a chance for isolated showers. The warming trend will continue into midweek as temperatures return to the 70s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Wednesday.
