MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Police stopped a vehicle in Morgan County for improper lane usage, but they ended up finding over 20 pounds of drugs inside the vehicle.
Indiana State Police say they pulled over a 2008 Ford car around 11:40 a.m. Thursday on Interstate 70 near the 52 mile marker.
Police say while speaking to the driver, Christian Sotomayor, 25, there were several indicators that he might be hiding drugs inside the car.
ISP officers searched the car and found about two pounds of heroin and 20 pounds of cocaine in the passenger compartment and the trunk area.
Police estimate the value to be around $360,000.
