Tricky travel Tuesday morning
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Morning commuters should consider leaving the house a few minutes early, as snow moves in Tuesday morning.
A quick-hitting band of snow showers will arrive to central Indiana just before daybreak Tuesday. While most should see lighter snow showers, there will be a few embedded heavier bursts at times through the morning that could accumulate quickly on roads and lower visibility.
For most, accumulation should stay below 1″, because of some embedded heavier snow showers, a few areas could range between 1″-2″ before snow tapers off by early to mid afternoon.
Be ready for quickly changing road and visibility conditions through Tuesday morning.
Bitter cold air returns Thursday morning, where wind chills will dip well below zero.
