INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Here’s a look at Tuesday’s business headlines.
Amazon minimum wage
Amazon announced Tuesday morning that they are raising their minimum wage to $15 an hour.
This includes all workers – fulltime, part time, temporary, and seasonal.
There are about 9,000 people employed by Amazon in Indiana.
Oil prices
Oil is surging to the highest price in four years.
There was a slowdown in American drilling and concern over losses in Iran and Venezuela.
Crude oil is now $75 a barrel.
FDA
The FDA will change the information it provides in food recall announcements from here on out.
Now, food recalls will include more details about the stores where foods were sold.
The FDA hopes that this will help consumers figure out more quickly if they have a recalled food item.

Youtube will be collecting more of your data.
One new feature will allow viewers to watch movie trailers simultaneously giving them the option to buy movie tickets.
Other tools will deliver beefed-up information about the demographics of users.
