Two children hurt after gunfire outside east side home
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two young children were transported to Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health after gunfire erupted outside an east side home.
The call to dispatch came in just after 11 p.m. Tuesday evening to a home in the 2100 block of North Kenyon Street.
Lt. Richard Riddle with IMPD said the children, an 8-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy, have graze wounds on their feet as a result of the shooting. They were listed in good condition.
According to IMPD, the kids’ parents were inside the home at the time of the shooting.
Officers were still searching for suspects Wednesday morning.
