INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – An isolated shower chance for Friday morning with temperatures in the mid-60s to start the day. Shower chances will shift north through the day with a partly sunny sky. Highs will warm to the mid-80s and will feel sticky.
Friday night will be a fantastic warm evening with a mostly clear sky. Lows will fall to the upper 60s.
Active week for the city of Indianapolis as well in terms of the weather. A very warm day Saturday with highs in the upper 80s with a partly to mostly cloudy sky. Scattered shower and storms will develop during the afternoon with some turning on the stronger side. There is a marginal risk of severe weather in Indy while northeast Indiana has a slight risk.
Scattered showers and storms will continue through the day on Sunday with shower and storm chances at any time. Highs will run a bit cooler topping out in the lower 80s. There is a marginal risk of severe weather on race day throughout all of central Indiana. A few lingering showers will roll over to Monday with highs in the lower 80s.
We will begin to dry out and cool off by the middle part of next week with highs in the lower 80s and upper 70s.
