Veterans encouraged to record war time stories
COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) – Next week area veterans are invited to share wartime stories as part of a Library of Congress project.
The stories will be recorded from 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday at the Greentree at Westwood Assisted Living Center. U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly will provide staff to record the session.
Veterans are encouraged to share their personal narratives to preserve the historic experiences of those who served.
Anyone who is interested in sharing their story should RSVP to Donnelly’s officer by contacting Brain Cavanaugh at Brian_Cavanaugh@donnelly.senate.gov or call 317-226-5555.
