Walmart, The Salvation Army team up to ‘Stuff the Bus’ for children in need

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Many area students have already returned to the classroom.

However, as children return to school and other areas of life begin to back to normal during the coronavirus pandemic, difficulties for many still exist.

To help meet some of those needs, Walmart and The Salvation Army have teamed up to “Stuff the Bus.”

The Stuff the Bus initiative, which aims to provide school supplies for children in need, will be from Friday, Aug. 6 to Sunday, Aug.8 at more than 4,500 Walmart locations.

Places to donate locally are as follows:

  • Walmart Neighborhood Market – 900 W. Main Street, Plainfield, Ind.
  • Walmart Supercenter – 7245 US 31 S, Indianapolis
  • Walmart Supercenter – 2001 E. 151st Street, Carmel, Ind.
  • Walmart Supercenter – 8300 E. 96th Street, Fishers, Ind.
