Warm start to October
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A warm start to the work week as temperatures warm to 10° above the normal high! Highs Monday will top out in the lower 80s with mainly sunny skies. Lows will stay on the mild side of things bottoming out in the upper 60s!
A cold front will pass trough the state Tuesday increasing our rain chances during the afternoon. Should be a dry morning commute with clouds thickening up during the later part of the morning. Highs Tuesday will near the 80° mark. Showers during the afternoon will be isolated and should move out late evening.
Wednesday will be warm and muggy day with highs rebounding to the mid 80s with rising humidity levels. Clouds will be around with an isolated shower chance during the later part of the afternoon. A better chance of showers and storms arrive by Thursday and Friday. Scattered showers and storms will be around at anytime during the day with highs still warming to the lower to mid 80s. Stretch of warm, muggy and wet weather for Friday as well with highs in the mid 80s.
This weekend we should clear it out early as highs still remain very summer like during the day topping out in the lower 80s. Isolated showers chances return late in the evening and linger through the day on Sunday.
