Warm summer like day with storm chances increasing Thursday
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Patchy fog possible Wednesday morning but not expecting anything too thick for the morning commute. Clouds will hang around for a good portion of the day with peaks of sunshine! Highs Wednesday soar to the mid 80s this afternoon with high humidity. Highs Wednesday will be running a good 15° above the normal high. An isolated storm is possible Wednesday afternoon with a good portion of the state staying dry.
A cold front will pass though the state early Thursday sparking up showers and storms during the morning commute. Not expecting any severe weather to start off the day. Highs will also be on the cooler side and closer to our seasonal high topping out in the mid 70s. Showers and storms should exit the area by the afternoon hours. A few isolated showers and storms are possible to end the work week as highs climb to the lower 80s.
This weekend will be very summer like as highs warm back to the lower 80s with a spotty shower or storm.
Highs still on the warmer side to start the work week next week. A cold front will try and work its way in by the middle half of next week as highs begin to cool down to the lower 80s and upper 70s with shower and storm chances increasing.
