Water main break on Kessler Boulevard near Chatard High School
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Citizens Energy Group reports a water main break occurred Monday afternoon along Kessler Boulevard East Drive on the north side.
A 12-inch cast iron water main has broken near Bishop Chatard High School, which is just west of Keystone Avenue off Kessler.
A spokesperson for Citizens said a supervisor at the water main break is working to get a crew there. Repairs could take until around midnight Monday, according to a Citizens Energy outage map. Otherwise, the cause of the break and what its effect will be on water service was not immediately known.
