INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Storm Track 8 Team is closely monitoring changing weather this holiday weekend.
INDY 500 SUNDAY: Rain looks to stay away from central Indiana, for race day. A mix of sun and clouds is expected through the day. Morning temps will be in the low to mid 60’s. Green flag temperatures will be in the mid 70’s, and will likely jump to the lower 80’s by the end of the race.
While rain will not threaten activities at the Speedway, there will be isolated showers and storms develop late tonight into the overnight hours.
MEMORIAL DAY: There will some additional scattered showers and thunderstorms off and on during Memorial Day. Be sure to download the Storm Track 8 weather app to check and see where the scattered thunderstorms will fire up, so they do not ruin your outdoor plans! Temperatures will reach the upper 70s to near 80 degrees.
Stay with the Storm Track 8 Team as they continue to fine tune the forecast.
