INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Here’s a look at Wednesday’s business headlines.

Wind farms

American Electric Power Company has completed a $1.056 billion deal of wind farms from Sempra Energy, including some farms in Indiana.

The wind farms include the Fowler Ridge two project in Indiana, which is jointly owned with BP Wind Energy.

AEP’s longterm goals are to expand renewable energy.

Wing drone

Wing gets FAA approval for done delievery.

One of the first applications for dones is for agriculture, surveying crops for damage and quality.

Wing was granted an air carrier certification, which clear it to make commercial deliveries in the United States.

Walgreens

Walgreens said it will only sell tobacco products to consumers over the age of 21.

The move is in response to a report from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration that said the pharmacy had about 1,800 violations for selling tobacco products to kids across the United States.

The new chain-wide policy will go into effect Sept. 1.

Boeing

Boeing will Wednesday give its most public accounting yet of how the 737 Max crisis has hurt its bottom line.

Analysts had expected Boeing to post a profit but now they expect a decline as the cost of the 737 Max problems could be even worse than expected.

Boeing continues to build the 737 Max, albeit at a reduced pace.
