Welcomed dry stretch

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — There will be a few dry days across central Indiana before more rain arrives later this week.

Sunday:

After a few isolated early-morning storms, we should clear the way for beautiful sunshine, lower humidity and comfortable temperatures across central Indiana. You can expect highs to only hit the lower to middle 70s Sunday afternoon.

Sunday Night:

With a mainly clear sky, temperatures will fall rather quickly. Lows will fall to the middle to upper 40s across the area.

Monday:

A dry and cooler pattern continues, with mostly sunny conditions and highs in the lower 70s.

8 day forecast:

There will be one more dry day on Tuesday before the pattern turns active again, as early as Tuesday night. A few isolated showers and storms will be possible Tuesday evening. Better chances of rain will begin daily starting Wednesday and continue through the end of next weekend. Potential for heavy rain and flooding will be a concern over the second half of the extended forecast.
