What could you buy if you quit going to Starbucks?

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Buying a cup of coffee at Starbucks on a regular basis adds up. Here’s what you could buy if you quit your habit.

A report by the Huffington Post said a plain black cup of coffee from Starbucks is $2.25 a piece.

Hypothetically, if you didn’t buy a plain black cup of coffee for one work week, you could save $11.25. That is enough to buy a case of cheap beer.

If you quit buying coffee for a month, you would save almost $50. That is enough to buy an iPod shuffle plus a bag of candy.

After six months, you could save $288. That is enough to buy a telescope, or a pair of roller-blades.

If you quit buying coffee for a year, you could save close to $600. That could pay for a four night getaway to Bermuda.

If you are more of the latte, capuccino or frapuccino drinker, you could extend that getaway to Bermuda to a week.

If you’re looking to save some money, you might want to start brewing coffee from home or drinking coffee in the office.
