Wind advisory in effect Monday
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Wind gusts over 50 mph at times are expected through much of the day, as colder temperatures move into central Indiana.
Today:
Strong system moving through the eastern half of the country will move east of our area today. In its wake, strong winds and colder air move in. A Wind Advisory is in effect until 8pm Monday night. Gusts could reach up 50 mph at times through much of the morning and early afternoon, before gradually diminishing late in the day.


Temperatures will fall through the day, hovering in the middle 40s Monday afternoon.

Tonight:
Winds will continue to die down. With a partly cloudy sky, temperatures will fall quickly overnight, allowing for some frost formation. Lows dip into the lower 30s overnight.

Tuesday:
Dry but chilly day on tap. Expect a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the middle 40s.

8 day forecast:
Next rain chance move in on Wednesday, with just light isolated showers for the afternoon hours. Frosty temperatures are still expected for many overnights through this week, with a warming trend on tap heading into next weekend.
