WISH Patrol to surprise college student who helps the homeless

ANDERSON (WISH) – For Darrius Mitchell, giving back has become a way of life.

A junior at Anderson University and running back on the school’s football team, Mitchell has been using his own money to buy bottled water, food and personal hygiene items he then passes out to the homeless around Indianapolis.

When the WISH Patrol learned of what Mitchell was doing, we teamed up with Coca-Cola Consolidated and Kroger to give him the tools to keep making a difference in the community.
