Woman badly hurt in Bargersville crash

BARGERSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – A woman was trapped in her vehicle Tuesday morning after a crash in Bargersville, fire officials there said.

The crash happened on State Road 135, south of Whiteland Road, around 10:20 a.m.

According to Bargersville Fire Chief Jason Ramey, the crash involved one vehicle. A female driver crossed the center line for unknown reasons and hit a utility pole.

It took emergency crews 25 minutes to extricate the woman from the car. She was taken by ambulance to IU Health Methodist Hospital’s trauma center. It’s unclear what her condition was.

The Bargersville Police Department is now investigating the crash.
