Woman faces armed robbery charge in North Vernon homicide

NORTH VERNON, Ind. (WISH) – One person was arrested and two others are still being sought after a homicide in downtown North Vernon this week.

Police arrested 25-year-old Andrea M. Hollin of North Vernon on a preliminary charge of armed robbery for her involvement in the homicide early Thursday morning, 24-Hour News 8’s news partners at The Republic report.

Police say 42-year-old Gilbert Engle of Seymour was shot and killed in the 200 block of North Chestnut Street. Two other suspects are still being sought in the investigation. They have been identified by police as 32-year-old Daniel L. Combs and 21-year-old Jessica L. Jarrell, both of North Vernon.

According to police, Combs and Jarrell might be driving a stolen blue PT Cruiser with the license plate 802LWP. They are considered armed and dangerous.
