MIAMI (WISH) — Purdue football fans remember Raheem Mostert during his time playing with the Boilermakers, and they’re hoping the now San Francisco running back’s performance will be memorable against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday in the Super Bowl.
The former Boiler said he wouldn’t be where he is today if it wasn’t for his time at Purdue.
“I came to Purdue as a receiver, that was my natural position and I had to make that transition to running back my junior year when we got a new head coach,” said Mostert. “I made that decision because I wasn’t necessarily getting that look, that opportunity as a receiver. It clearly worked!”
Mostert is gearing up for the biggest game of his career, but it was a long road getting to this moment.
