Cathedral HS receives The Zone Banner

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Days after being named the best student section in central Indiana for the 2021 football season, students at Cathedral High School received The Zone Banner.

WISH-TV Sports Director Anthony Calhoun traveled to the school for the presentation of the award.

“At the end of the season, there was one school student section that surpassed them all and that’s the student section from Cathedral High School!” Calhoun said to the excited students.

Cathedral took home the Banner following a runner-up finish in 2016.

“I’ve been associated with Cathedral for 18 years and I’ve never seen a student section like we had this year,” said Cathedral High School Principal Julie Barthel.
