Hike! The Zone 8 is ready for high school football

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – This Friday night, The Zone returns to your television.

In advance, we’ll present a preview at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday during News 8 at Six.

Every week, you watch the finished product at 11:08 p.m., but that is just a sliver of the work that goes into The Zone. The fun begins on Friday mornings with cheerleaders on “Daybreak,” where we present a rundown of the games to be presented that night. The 11:08 p.m. broadcast features more high school football games than any other local station plus a visit from a local high school band.

News 8 has a game of the week that features a tailgater with radio partner, The Mix 107.9, and food from HotBox Pizza.
