Revised schedule, safety plan for Indy Eleven games released
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The revised schedule for Indy Eleven’s 2020 season has been announced. The United Soccer League made the announcement Thursday.
“This is the day we’ve been waiting for and working towards for more than three months,” said Indy Eleven Head Coach Martin Rennie in a press release sent to News 8. “To have the schedule in hand is a wonderful payoff for the patience of our players and fans alike, and to have two additional home games is really the cherry on top. All that’s left now is to get to the games, and I know the squad is ready to deliver starting next weekend against Saint Louis.”
The team will also implement a health and safety plan that will allow fans to enjoy the games responsibly. Some of the details of the plan include:
- Social distancing
- Mandatory face masks and temperature checks
- Routine cleanliness
- No tailgating permitted
- Modified food and beverage services
