Purdue frosh chosen for USA U19 team
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) — Purdue freshman Caleb Swanigan will represent Team USA at the FIBA U19 World Championship in Greece.
USA Basketball cut the team down from 16 to 12 Wednesday.
Purdue sophomore Vince Edwards was among the cuts.
The World Championship will be held June 27 to July 5 in Greece.
Swanigan played on the USA team that won last year’s U17 World Championship.
