BROWNSBURG, Ind. (WISH) — Two people are dead after a vehicle went off a roadway and into White Lick Creek near Brownsburg, the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office said.

The sheriff’s office received a call around 3:40 p.m. Tuesday about a vehicle in a creek with a person or people inside near East County Road 350 North and North County Road 600 East.

Crews sent divers from Brownsburg Fire Territory into the water, said Capt. Amanda Goings with the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office.

Two deceased adults were located inside the vehicle, Goings said.

No information about the identities of the victims or the circumstances of the crash were immediately available.
