INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The temperature, humidity and storm activity are all heating up Tuesday. Heat Advisory for the northern half of Indiana where heat indexes may reach 103. Central and southern Indiana will see heat indexes in the mid-90s Tuesday afternoon. Take it easy if you are outside today.

Also, some strong storms this morning and more storms overnight Tuesday night.

On Tuesday, we see one round of showers in the morning and then another round overnight. Another steamy day.

The first round of showers and storms moves through Tuesday morning, headed from northwest to southeast.

Another round of showers and storms will be moving through during the overnight hours.

The storms overnight Tuesday night have the potential to bring some severe weather. Slight risk from Indy on north.

Most likely, the severe weather problem will come from potentially damaging winds.

Overnight conditions stay very warm and muggy once again.

The second round of showers will be moving out by commute time Wednesday morning.

Wednesday, the heat and humidity return along with the chance for more showers.

Little change in our weather pattern until a cold front arrives Friday. The front brings more chances of showers Friday but lets in some slightly cooler and less humid air for the weekend.
