Jasmine Minor

Jasmine Minor is currently an Emmy-winning investigative reporter and fill-in anchor at WISH-TV in Indianapolis.

She is a five-time Emmy nominee in 2020.

She was awarded an Emmy for highlighting a broken system in the Department of Children and Families through the eyes of one young girl in 2018.

She has been passionately covering social justice stories that included breaking news, investigative projects and daily turns.

Her stories have dug deep into local issues that impact small communities to national coverage at the White House.

She has worked in all aspects of journalism including production, print, broadcast, and digital. She served as an on-air NFL Draft reporter for CSN Chicago as well as a college tennis sideline reporter and analyst for ESPN3.

Jasmine is Chicago born and bred, but considers Indy her “home away from home.” She grew up competing in national tennis tournaments hosted at North Central High School which is also the place she picked up her first racquet. She went on to play Division 1 tennis for Georgia Tech where she studied finance and marketing. She received her masters in broadcast journalism from Northwestern (Medill) University. She graduated in the top ten percent of her class.
