Below average temperatures to continue

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Our new work week kicked off with a cloudy, cold and windy day across the region.

Monday night:

A Freeze Warning will be in effect from midnight to 9 AM Tuesday morning for central Indiana.

We will have a cold night with mostly cloudy skies with breezy winds. Lows will bottom out in the low 30s.

A much better day is in store for us with mostly cloudy skies as temperatures warm into the mid to upper 40s. Winds will be much lighter throughout the day.

Expect some areas of frost in the morning hours to start your Wednesday. Have the umbrella handy as on and off isolated showers are possible throughout the late morning and afternoon hours with some snow showers in the northern counties. High temperatures once again top out in the upper 40s.

8 Day Forecast:

Precipitation chances continue through the end of the work week and into the weekend. Thursday could see light rain and snow, and snow flurry chances continue into the weekend. Temperatures look to warm up into the upper 50s and low 60s for your weekend.
