Calm weekend, snow chances to follow

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We received a nice, cool, and dry end to the workweek with peeks of sunshine.

Friday night: We will return to near normal low temperatures for our Friday night after a few above average nights this week. Skies will be mostly clear as lows dip into the upper 20s to low 30s.

Saturday: A nice and calm Saturday will be on tap under mostly sunny skies. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 40s.

Sunday: Clouds will slowly be on the increase throughout the day. This will lead way for our next weather system with showers beginning to move in late Sunday into early Monday morning.

Highs will rise into the upper 40s.

8 Day Forecast: As we go through Monday, rain looks to changeover to snow, and snow chances will continue through Tuesday. There are still uncertainties on the track of the system and amount of snow we will get. Confidence is growing nonetheless on accumulating snow.

High temperatures will fall into the 30s to low 40s throughout next week with dry time returning by Wednesday.
