Chilly Friday ahead

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A slightly warmer day is in the books across the state as we continued to see lots of sunshine.

Thursday night:

Another cold night is ahead as we will see an increase in cloud cover overnight. Lows will fall into the mid 30s.

Friday:

A cooler day is expected under partly cloudy skies to end the work week. Winds will be breezy throughout the day. Highs will only rise into the upper 40s.

Weekend:

Prepare for a cold start to your Saturday before our high temperatures return to the 50s. Scattered showers are possible through the afternoon hours, and even Sunday afternoon could see a stray shower. Clouds will partially decrease Sunday, giving way for some sunshine and boosting our highs into the upper 50s to low 60s.

Cooler air will once again sink into the state to start the workweek. We will then work in another warming trend throughout the week.
