Cool weekend

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Our stretch of cooler days continues this weekend, with spotty rain chances both Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday:

There will be mostly cloudy conditions across much of the area. Only a few spotty showers will be possible during the day, and any rain will be brief and relatively light.

Highs will top out in the upper 50s.

Saturday night:

Partly cloudy skies lead to a quiet and chilly night. Lows fall to the upper 30s and low 40s.

Sunday:

Partly cloudy with an isolated afternoon shower possible. Slightly warmer temperatures arrive, as highs will rise to the lower 60s.

8 day forecast:

Expect a brief warm up for Monday, as highs surge to the middle 60s. A potent system moving in will bring rain showers to the area Tuesday afternoon, which quickly will change over to snow showers Tuesday night. As of now, only light accumulation is expected considering the warm ground. Temperatures will likely dip below freezing Tuesday night, and chilly highs in the 40s are expected Wednesday. Quiet weather with rebounding temperatures are on tap closer to the weekend.
