Cooling trend ahead

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We had a warm and muggy Wednesday with scattered storms and breezy winds.

Wednesday night:

Expect another mild and muggy night ahead under mostly cloudy skies. A few spotty showers are possible late.

Lows will only bottom out in the upper 60s.

Thursday:

Numerous showers and storms are possible throughout the day for your Thursday. We will also have another warm and muggy day ahead.

Highs top out in the upper 70s to low 80s.

Friday:

Have the rain gear handy as showers and storms are possible for much of the morning and afternoon hours. Showers will diminish by Friday evening.

We look to finally cool down a little bit with high temperatures only in the mid 70s.

We get to enjoy a beautiful weekend to close out May as our cooling trend will continue. The weekend will feature low humidity and plentiful sunshine. We will continue to stay dry through midweek next week work with high temperatures slowly rising.
