It was the chilliest morning we have seen since May 12th when it was 37. This morning it was down to 40 at the Indy Airport and down to the upper 30s in many outlying areas. Now, thanks to a few sunny days, we will start a warming trend that gets our temperatures back to above average.
Tonight – Chilly again with a low of 42.
Monday – Sunny and warmer. High 71
Tuesday – Still sunny and a little warmer. High 72.
Not much color showing on the trees in Morgan County but the recent chilly weather may get the change in gear.
40 degree low temperature this morning was the coolest since 34 on May 12. There were several reports of lows in the upper 30s in the outlying areas.
Thanks to all day sunshine, we made a nice recovery with a high of 66 this afternoon.
Another chilly night. Monday morning low temperatures will be in the low 40s for central Indiana.
High pressure area drifting to the east south of us will keep our weather pattern quiet for a few more days.
Another day of sunshine Monday will warm temperatures into the low 70s most areas.
On the way to work or school Monday morning a heavy Fall jacket and maybe even a hat and gloves would be appropriate.
8 Day Outlook – the warming trend continues Wednesday. However, clouds will increase Wednesday in advance of some showers possible late Wednesday. Still scattered showers around Thursday. After the showers, it gets chilly again to finish the week and heading into next weekend.
