Fantastic Saturday ahead, rain chances return by Sunday
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We had a beautiful start to the month of May with plentiful sunshine and warmer temperatures.
Friday night:
Skies will become mostly cloudy by the nighttime hours with temperatures remaining on the comfortable side. There is the slight chance for a stray shower tonight.
Lows will bottom out in the low to mid 50s.
Saturday:
Enjoy a fantastic warm day with a mix of sun and clouds as winds will become breezy in the afternoon. Clouds will then build in by the nighttime hours ahead of our next chance for rain as a few spotty showers are possible after sunset.
Highs will climb into the upper 70s to low 80s.
Sunday:
Have the rain gear handy as your Sunday will be a wet one with showers on and off throughout the day. Isolated thunderstorms are possible, and these will bring heavy downpours.
Highs will remain mild as we top out in the upper 60s to low 70s.

The new work week will start off comfortable with partly sunny skies and temperatures in the 70s for your Monday. Showers and storm chances return by Monday night and continue through midweek for what will be an active weather pattern. We will also see a gradual cooling trend through Wednesday afternoon with high temperatures falling into the upper 50s to low 60s.
