Few morning showers, then sunshine

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — There will be a few morning showers to start the day with a cold front passing through the state. These should be out of here by mid to late morning and we’ll salvage the afternoon with highs headed to the lower 70s. Tonight will be a chilly one with lows in the lower 50s and a mainly clear sky.

Sunday will be beautiful with highs in the mid 70s with a mostly sunny sky.

Next week, temperatures will trend warmer and will have an almost summer-like feel with highs Monday topping out in the lower 80s with mostly sunny skies. The 80-degree temperatures will continue as we head through midweek with plenty of sunshine. More seasonal-like temperatures arrive by the end of the week to start off the month of October with highs in the mid 70s with sunshine.
