Heat and humidity return!

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A warm and muggy start to the week with temperatures Monday morning in the lower 70s with a stray shower. Partly sunny skies will take us through late morning and most of the afternoon with highs headed to the upper 80s to lower 90s. There could also be a few isolated storms Monday afternoon. Lows Monday night will fall to the lower 70s.

Tuesday will be an even warmer day with highs breaking to the lower 90s with a partly cloudy sky. There could be an isolated storm that develops through the afternoon. There is a marginal risk for northeast Indiana. Most of the state will see a dry day. Highs midweek still warm to the lower 90s with a few clouds and sun!

Late week shower and storm chances will increase will a good chance of rain and storms Thursday and Friday with highs cooling to the mid-80s. We could potentially see impacts from now tropical storms Laura with rain by this upcoming weekend. Highs will also cool to the lower 80s.
