Hot and humid holiday weekend ahead

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We continued the hot weather trend through our Thursday.

Thursday night:

We will have a mostly clear and dry night with lows dipping into the upper 60s.

Fourth of July Weekend:

Another hot day is ahead for central Indiana as we close the work week. Expect a slight increase in humidity with highs topping out in the low 90s.

We may have our warmest day of the year for the Fourth of July with high temperatures in the low 90s and higher humidity. There is a slight chance for rain late Saturday. Isolated showers and storms are possible in the afternoon hours Sunday with highs sticking around the 90° mark.

Rain chances look to increase through your Monday next week. The 90° temperature trend looks to possibly continue through at least next Thursday.
