Hot, humid start to the workweek
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Steamy conditions return to open the workweek. Cooler temps move in close to the weekend.
Today:
A warm front moving through the state has sparked scattered showers and storms across northern portions of the state this morning. Expect that line to continue north as the front moves into Michigan Tuesday.
Warmer and more humid air will return Tuesday afternoon. Expect highs to top out in the upper 80s later Tuesday. A few isolated storms will be possible north of I-70 Tuesday afternoon.
Tonight:
Partly cloudy and quiet conditions overnight. Lows fall to the middle 60s.
Wednesday:
Hot and quiet day across the state. Sunshine through much of the day, with highs hitting the upper 80s.
8 day forecast:
Relatively quiet week ahead, with cooler temperatures moving in for the end of the week. Highs return to the 70s starting Friday. Some isolated rain chances move in for next weekend.
