Rain and chilly temperatures this weekend

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We had a fantastic mild and breezy Fall day to end the workweek. This nice trend however, will not stick around as rain chances are set to return this weekend.

Friday night:

Another above average night is expected with skies remaining mostly cloudy. We can’t rule out a few showers late tonight. Lows will dip into the mid 40s.

Saturday:

A much cooler day with returning rain chances will be the story for our Saturday. Have the umbrella handy as scattered showers will develop in the morning hours before rain becomes more widespread by the nighttime hours.

Highs will only top out in the upper 40s.

Sunday:

Snow and mix may be possible northeast of Indianapolis early Sunday morning. Rain is likely through a good portion of our Sunday with mainly cloudy skies. The rain will move out by the nighttime hours.

By the middle of Sunday afternoon, rainfall amounts look to exceed one inch for most of central Indiana.

Highs will rise into the mid 40s.

8 Day Forecast:

We will begin the new workweek on a chilly note before we rebound into the 50s through midweek. Another system will bring rain chances for Tuesday and Wednesday. We look to dry out just in time for Thanksgiving Day with mostly sunny skies for the remainder of the week.
