Rain chances this week

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Several rain chances set up for the upcoming week with near normal temperatures.

Monday:

Some patchy fog has developed this morning over northern Indiana. A few more areas may have to deal with the fog through mid morning. Otherwise, look for a mostly cloudy day with a few pop up showers and maybe even a thunderstorms for this afternoon.

Highs top out in the middle 70s.

Monday night:

Mostly cloudy with some patchy fog. Lows fall to the lower 60s.

Tuesday:

Mostly cloudy. Highs hit the middle to upper 70s.

8 day forecast:

Upper level system sneaks into the Midwest from the south starting Wednesday afternoon, sparking scattered showers heading into Wednesday evening, with widespread rain overnight into Thursday. Additional rainfall amounts of around 1″ are possible through the end of the week.

Temperatures remain steady in the middle 70s through the work week. Sunshine should be a bit more prevalent this weekend, allowing for highs near 80°
