Rain chances through Wednesday, dry stretch to follow

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We had a humid and windy Tuesday across the state with scattered showers and storms.

Tuesday night:

A Wind Advisory remains in effect for western and parts of central Indiana until 9 PM EDT this evening.

Isolated showers and storms will be possible this evening before diminishing after sunset.

We will remain warm overnight with lows only in the mid 70s.

Wednesday:

Prepare for another chance of scattered showers and storms with isolated strong to severe storms possible east of Indianapolis.

A Marginal Risk for severe weather is in place for the eastern half of Indiana with a Slight Risk near the Indiana/Ohio border. Damaging winds and large hail are the primary threat.

Highs will top out in the low to mid 80s. Winds will also remain breezy.

Thursday:

Enjoy a fantastic day with sunshine and lower humidity. We will remain dry throughout the day with highs topping out in the upper 70s to low 80s.

8 Day Forecast:

We will slightly warm up Friday afternoon with highs in the low 80s. Cooler and more comfortable conditions will settle in for the weekend. High temperatures will be in mid 70s with plentiful sunshine and dry conditions.
