Rain chances with cooler temps for Thursday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — After another mild day with breezy winds, we look to cool down with our next chance for rain moving in for Thursday.

Wednesday night:

A comfortable and dry evening under partly cloudy skies is ahead with breezy winds. Lows will dip into the low 50s.

Have the umbrella ready as we will have a cold front move through the state. This front will bring on and off spotty showers throughout your Thursday. Some showers could linger into the evening hours.

Highs will top out in the low 60s Thursday morning before our temperatures gradually decline as the day progesses. With temperatures in the upper 30s by Friday morning, patchy frost is possible.

A much cooler day will be in place to end the work week. Skies will become partly sunny as our highs only rise into the mid to upper 50s.

8 Day Forecast:

The below normal temperature trend will continue through the weekend. Abundant sunshine will make this weekend a fantastic fall weekend to get out and enjoy. Warmer air looks to return by midweek next week.
