Rain returns Thursday night; warming up this weekend
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A cold start to Thursday morning with morning temperatures in the lower 20s with feel-like temperatures in the teens. Mainly clear with clouds thickening up through the afternoon. Highs will warm to the upper 40s Thursday afternoon. Rain will move in Thursday night with a maybe a few flakes mixing in but the heaviest snow will set up just north of Lafayette and Kokomo.
Most of central Indiana will wake up to rain with areas in northern Indiana seeing snow. There will be a thin band of a light mix in our northern counties. This system will exit quickly and should be out of here by mid afternoon. Highs will cool to the mid-40s.
This weekend highs will jump to the upper 50s with a partly cloudy sky. A better chance for a few spotty showers Sunday with highs approaching 60°.
Next week, highs will continue to warm next week with a few shower and storm chances mid to late week.
