Several rain chances ahead with high humidity

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We continued the hot and humid trend across the state for our Wednesday with dry conditions.

Wednesday night:

A very warm evening is ahead with the chance for a stray shower before sunset. This will be a great night once again to turn on the air conditioner as lows only fall into the mid 70s.

Thursday:

Keep the umbrella handy for your Thursday as spotty showers and storms will be on and off throughout the day.

Isolated strong to severe storms are not out of the question northeast of the Kokomo-Muncie line.

Highs top out in the upper 80s for what will be a warm and muggy day. We will also have breezy winds through the day.

Friday:

We will continue the warm and muggy trend with spotty storm chances through our Friday.

Isolated strong to severe storms are possible in the afternoon and evening hours. Damaging winds and large hail are the primary threats.

Highs top out in the upper 80s.

8 Day Forecast:

Daily rain and storm chances, with the exception of Sunday, will be in place through the first portion of next week. Below normal temperatures are expected through the weekend. Humidity values will remain on the higher side for the next few days.
