INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A much better weather day was the story across the state with plenty of sunshine and above average tempertures.

Wednesday night: Skies will remain mainly clear tonight as lows dip into the upper 20s and low 30s.

Thursday: Enjoy a beautiful day under mostly sunny skies and well above average temperatures for this time of the year. Highs will top out in the mid 50s.

Friday: We will see cloud cover slowly increase through our Friday. Showers look to develop Friday night and continue overnight into early Saturday.

Highs will once again rise into the mid 50s.

8 Day Forecast: Showers are likely Saturday with rain being on and off throughout the day. Temperatures will remain mild for Saturday before a sharp cooldown moves in for Sunday. Snow flurries may be possible Sunday morning with isolated drizzle/flurry chances continuing through Monday. Temperatures will remain around average through the first portion of next week.
