Tracking Tuesday’s storms

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We had a nice start to the work week for our Monday with mostly cloudy skies and dry conditions. Rain and storm chances will return for our Tuesday.

Monday night:

Skies will remain mostly cloudy throughout the night. Areas of patchy fog may develop. Lows will dip into the mid 60s.

Tuesday:

Rain chances and temperatures will increase through our Tuesday. Scattered showers and storms are likely throughout the afternoon and evening hours.

Isolated strong to severe storms are possible with a Marginal Risk in place across central Indiana. Damaging winds are the primary threat, but an isolated tornado is not out of the question for folks along and south of interstate 70.

Highs will rise into the mid 80s. We will also be on the muggy side.

Wednesday:

We will continue the warm muggy trend for our Wednesday. Scattered showers and storms are possible in the afternoon and evening hours.

Highs will top out in the low to mid 80s.

8 Day Forecast:

Daily rain chances look to continue through the end of the work week. A gradual cooling trend will work its way into the forecast through the weekend. We will briefly dry out this weekend as well with high temperatures lowering back into the 70s. Showers are possible Sunday night and into the Monday.
